GLS Marketing Brochure

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System is a binational waterway connecting world markets to North America's "Opportunity Belt" - the Great Lakes region.

This vital maritime gateway moves cargo between North America and international markets.  This System incudes the St. Lawrence River and the five Great Lakes, stretching over 2,300 miles (3,700 km) from the Gulf of St. Lawrence to Lake Superior.  The Seaway is a binational system operated jointly by the U.S. Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) and the Canadian St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation (SLSMC).

Both Corporations operate and maintain the 15-lock waterway, working seamlessly on operational, environmental, and marketing initiatives.

The GLS marketing brochure provides comprehensive information about the waterway and its significance to the Great Lakes region.
